Our trainers are leading professionals with decades of field experience in law enforcement, science, and environmental protection. The training courses were inspired by Andalusia, where, over two decades, wildlife poisoning incidents dropped by 90% through coordinated enforcement, forensic innovation, and inter-agency collaboration. That success became the blueprint for WCA, transforming a regional approach into an international training programme.

Most of our faculty come from the Junta de Andalucía and its partner institutions, whose pioneering work continues to guide best practices across Europe. Together, they bring real-case knowledge that helps participants understand how environmental crimes unfold—and how to build strong, coordinated responses to protect biodiversity and strengthen conservation.
